> Re Temporary Traffic Management Lane closure eastbound on Tuam also includes closure of the segregated cycle lane, with cyclists required to merge across 2 lanes. Unfortunately, only motorists in the nearside lane will be aware of merging cyclists, as the Extreme Care Cyclists Merging signs are not gated. Strangely, the lane closure signs are gated… Also, the taper for merging cyclists across the bus lane into the nearside lane is virtually at right angles, so they will merge obliquely…
