# Overgrown Vegetation, 8 Piripiri Place, Broomfield, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand

Broomfield, Christchurch · filed 3 December 2024 · report 5501115
https://www.chch.live/report/5501115

> The stretch of grass running behind homes in Karamu Subdivision, from SH1 near Piripri Place, to the drainage pit near Musket Lane. It is very long, just over knee height. It is a fire risk to the bordering houses along Piripiri Pl, Miromiro St and Musket Lane. It also looks terrible for this newly developed subdivision. I’m not sure if this is a council responsibility or the Riccarton Racecourse, but it needs to be stored before it totally dries out and becomes an extreme risk.
