# Hazard, vehicle, 840 Wainui Main Road, Banks Peninsula, Wainui 7582, New Zealand

Wainui, Christchurch · filed 12 December 2024 · report 5542434

> Wainui, Akaroa Harbour, slipway. The community has been concerned gor several years that most people using the slipway do not pay their daily or annual fee. Photo is an example of 8 vehicles (were 10 an hour earlier), middle of week, only 2 had paid. Council is missing out on revenue. More importantly, if people don't pay, Council has no idea how busy the slop is. On a good boating day in summer, we have counted 50 vehicles, opening the community hall grounds for spill over boat trailer parking
