> On Thursday our 18 trampers were grateful to see contractors or staff cutting & clearing the Crater Rim Walkway North of the Sign of the Bellbird. However, on steeper tracks the waste-high cut grass accumulates in the 'footwell'. When the cut grass dries to straw, it becomes as slippery as ice. Would it be possible to rake the cut grass clear of the foot track to avoid slips and falls especially on the steeper tracks (eg. CassRidge track, to remove this hazard? Last Summer we had 3 falls. Thanks
