> On Saturday 15th December we filled up the bath and it was completely dirty. We then tried the other taps and every cold water tap produced the same type of dirty water. I called the council and they said there had been no work in the area and to run the garden tap for five minutes which should clear the water. Water is now clear but we would like to know is why it happened, if there were works in the area affecting our water, why we didn’t know about them in advance and whether the water is now safe. Has there been a notice for the rest of the street?
