# Litter, 1J Waipapa Avenue, Banks Peninsula, Diamond Harbour 8972, New Zealand

Diamond Harbour, Christchurch · filed 19 January 2025 · report 5723665

> It looks like this is a promotional flyer, possibly for a lottery or prize event, that ended up in the ocean. The flyer likely originated from someone either accidentally or negligently allowing it to enter the water—such as being blown by wind, dropped, or improperly disposed of. This kind of littering is unfortunately common and highlights issues of pollution affecting marine environments. Flyers like this can harm ecosystems, as paper and ink can be pollutants, and they contribute to debris
