# Roads - General, 2 Vienna Street, Waltham, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand

Waltham, Christchurch · filed 29 January 2025 · report 5779362
https://www.chch.live/report/5779362

> I’ve witnessed multiple close calls of cyclists and pedestrians being hit by cars/busses due to the road works at Tuam and High Street. You need to move the merging lane back before the cycle/pedestrian crossing as cars and busses block the crossing point so cyclists and peds cross when traffic stops and if they are half way across they just go ahead and don’t look for people crossing.
