> There is an unknown chemical being pumped into the stream upstream, this stream is home to dozens of freshwater eels and many more freshwater animals that this could impact, we’ve been coming to purau for a long time and this is the first I’ve seen off it. I walked about 100 - 200 meters upstream to find the source of it but couldn’t get up any further. I kept finding stagnant pockets with more chemicals sitting on top, There are a couple farms upstream and I suspect it may be them.
