# Hazard, vehicle, 18 York Street, Waltham, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand

Waltham, Christchurch · filed 16 February 2025 · report 5882640
https://www.chch.live/report/5882640

> This is a common problem on York street. It is very narrow with no yellow lines and people park down both sides making it impossible to drive through. It would be disastrous if an emergency vehicle needed to get by! We measured between the 2 cars and it was just under 2 metres. We often get blocked in and have to go door knocking to get people to move vehicles opposite our drive so we can back out. Can we please get yellow lines down the street.
