# Trees - General, 99 Reserve Terrace, Banks Peninsula, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand

Lyttelton, Christchurch · filed 16 February 2025 · report 5883468

> Rampant Pld Man's Beard on Council road reserve. Smothering trees. Spreading by sending seedlings into surrounding gardens. I have cut some out, there is a pile of Old Man's Beard by the flax bush for the Council to collect and dispose of. I have raised this before. A small area was poisoned with no follow up. I've planted natives on thd road reserve to provide food for birds and stop erosion. I'm very unhappy that due to the Council's inaction the Old Man's Beard was got worse and spread.
