# Road Blockage, 1 Dobbs Street, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand

Halswell, Christchurch · filed 27 March 2025 · report 6098392
https://www.chch.live/report/6098392

> I needed to drive from my house in Longhurst to pick my son up from cashmere. Roadworks prevented me from going down Halswell junction road. So I tried to go south around the roadworks but a road closure on quaifs road blocked me in. I tried the subdivision for a through road but no luck. I noticed many other drivers trying the subdivision and quaifs road too. So I ended up having to drive back past my house to get onto the motorway to get to cashmere. Very frustrating. Petrol consuming. Late.
