> At riccarton park /riccarton racecourse, there is a fenced off duck pond beside where the markets are held. The pond is fully fenced, but has a number of holes and gaps that a small child can fit through, but not an adult. I am concerned that a small child could fall into the pond, but that an adult might not be able to get to them to rescue them. I believe the fence needs to be either repaired and made child proof, or removed. I view this as being equivalent to a pool fence in this matter
