> The cross chains added above the seat and between the support chains are a safety hazard. They prohibit the normal and safe action of backing up to the seat and sitting on it. Instead one has to somehow climb their feet and legs through the gap between the seat and chain by supporting their weight by their arms and hands on the side chains. Presumably someone thought they were improving safety by putting a chain across the user's belly to stop them sliding forward but they obviously didnt think
