> My house is No. 8 Kieran Grove, Aidanfield, Christchurch and we back onto a reserve which I think it forms part of the Nga Puna Wai Reserve. I note some contractors on mowers cut the grass on the reserve behind my house but they don’t mow right up to the edge of the creek. Then later some other workers come with weed eaters and trim the grass from the water’s edge inwards, BUT along some parts, they leave a “strip of long grass” between where the weed eaters stop and where the mowers stop! Why is this so? The strip of long grass left looks really bad and is an eyesore! Please advise. Kind regards Terry
