> The Council needs to look into the cause of the repeated flooding on Caulfield Avenue. We have lived in Longhurst for nearly 12 years and this never used to happen, even when the swale was really full after heavy rain. It is only in the past 18 months or so that this flooding keeps occurring. There must be a problem with a pump or blocked drains, drainage system or something that needs fixing. Sending clean-up crews AFTER each flooding incident is not good enough.
