> I’m a constable with the New Zealand police, I have patrolled murphys road a number of times due to speeding. The 40km signage when turning off Halswell Junction Road onto Murphys Road is too close to the intersection for people to realise that Murphy’s Road is a 40 km zone. The 40 km signs need to be put back further from the intersection so it gives people time to recognise the speed limit as you cannot see the signage when turning the corner.
