# Roads - General, 291 Madras St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Christchurch · filed 21 July 2025 · report 6638475

> Great opportunity to make a permanent cycleway here, all the way up Madras Street. The temporary protection is working well. The road is four lanes wide and incredibly inefficient considering it only carries two lanes do traffic. Let’s have better streets and make more space for people.
