# Street Gutters / Storm Water, 31B New Brighton Road, Shirley, Christchurch 8061, New Zealand

Shirley, Christchurch · filed 11 August 2025 · report 6731611

> This drain has been blocked between here and the next sump near Bampton St for several years. The other photo shows work on the sump outside the new units near the Palms. I assume they are connecting all their stormwater pipes into this drain. Currently this extra water will come out of the sump in photo 1. Perhaps its time to fix the blockage in the pipe between Netherby Lane & Bamptin St. to prevent even more flooding of driveways etc when it rains.
