> The original tree planted by the council in the walkway died some years ago and a resident planted their unwanted flax there. It is a trip hazard for scooters, pushchairs and people. We are new neighbours, I cleaned out 2/3rds of the bush but it is still a trip hazard and a flax should not be in the walkway. The other plants in the walkway are tall trees, well off the footpath, and do not create a hazard.
