> Located opposite 85 Waimea Terrace, this is a large quite old Silver Popular tree; probably White Poplar (Populus Alba). It frequently drops quite large bits and pieces of branches. My main concern about it is the large branch/trunk leaning out to the left In the pictures and extending along the walking edge of the river and significantly across Waimea Terrace. I fear that it may break away in moderate to strong wind and potentially harm walkers, runners, cyclists or motorists.
