> Can someone please tell me and most other people on Sumner why did the roadworks coincide with the opening of Evans Pass to Lyttelton with many large articulated trucks and cyclists now coming through Sumner causing congestion. Common sense tells me that the Sumner work should have been completed in the 8 years since the earthquakes before the road reopened .
