> Water often flows out of this trench in the middle of the road, forcing its way up through the seal on each side of the trench. When it does this, water also comes out a short distance downhill on to my front door path. Water shouldn't be coming out of this trench (whether upwards through the seal or downwards onto our property), so must be getting into it further uphill.
