# Animal - General, 296 Westminster St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand

Christchurch · filed 9 October 2025 · report 7013343

> A beehive has been setup in the backyard of a house. The bees are so numerous and angry that locals are unable to be outdoors at times due to the swarming. My partner and I have both been attacked by the swarm whilst tending to our garden on multiple occasions, one of which includes our dog being stung as well.
