# Park - General Request, 11 Miromiro Street, Broomfield, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand

Broomfield, Christchurch · filed 17 October 2025 · report 7057812

> I would like something done about the weeds that are choking the natives which are dying. The grass strip now gets cut but the weeding is never done, it needs regular whipper snipping. There is a creek with slight bank, however no one needs to go down the bank it can easily be trimmed from the grass. Plants cost us ratepayers money in our rates so why let them die, they don't need spray around them but need weeding, in 3yrs it's only ever been done once properly by GSL, since then nothing.
