# Pavement - General, 41 Pacific Road, North New Brighton, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand

North New Brighton, Christchurch · filed 18 October 2025 · report 7062471
https://www.chch.live/report/7062471

> The area alongside the footpath on the corner of Tedder Avenue and Pacific Road was recently replanted after the iceplant was removed. A woven plastic mat was put down over the ground, however this mat is now shredding and polluting the environment with small bits of plastic. This mat also doesn't allow water to penetrate so I'm not sure how the new plants are supposed to get sufficient water.
