# Pavement - Damaged, 40 Jeffreys Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand

Christchurch · filed 23 October 2025 · report 7088198
https://www.chch.live/report/7088198

> Large truck and trailer did a swing round u-turn, mounting the footpath and crushing the footpath asphalt outside 40 Jeffreys Road. You can see the tyre marks on road. This is already a low point where stormwater ponds, and now even lower. Crushed and cracked asphalt will now get more easily invaded by grass from mown lawn next to footpath, weakening the footpath fabric. Can this get fixed as part of nearby Bryndwr St upgrade, or a one-off repair please?
