# Roads - General, 166B Northcote Road, Northcote, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand

Northcote, Christchurch · filed 28 October 2025 · report 7117186
https://www.chch.live/report/7117186

> I don't know how many years away this intersection is from being replaced for full traffic signals, but in the meantime time, with the Wheels to Wings MCR also delayed, can we please make it safer and easier for cyclists using the road (green lines) and those using the pedestrian refuge islands (red line). I use both, depending on how heavy traffic is. Please consider cycle lanes on Sawyers Arms Rd to make it easier to use the cycle slip lane.
