# Trees - General, 339 Main North Road, Redwood, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand

Redwood, Christchurch · filed 18 November 2025 · report 7231414
https://www.chch.live/report/7231414

> I was struck in the head which has smashed my sunglasses and left a lump on my head by a falling branch from an overgrown council tree at the entrance to Redwood Early Childhood Centre. When I mentioned the danger to the teachers they mentioned this was brought to your attention 6 months ago. With children entering and exiting past this tree on a daily basis I feel the urgency of this job really needs to be prioritised.
