# Street Gutters / Storm Water, 375-401 Blenheim Road, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch 8443, New Zealand

Upper Riccarton, Christchurch · filed 27 November 2025 · report 7283228
https://www.chch.live/report/7283228

> Stormwater lid loose in the intersection of Hamsons Lane and Blenheim Road. The whole frame appears to be not connected to the manhole itself, rather than just a loose cover. The lid is in the wheel tracks and in the space of one set of lights I saw 4 HGVs driving directly over it and making it jump. Danger over it popping right out and creating a significant issue on the left through lane on Blenheim Road. Fix - Cut asphalt and refix frame to manhole.
