# Overgrown Vegetation, 6 Sandalwood Pl, Canterbury, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand

Christchurch · filed 2 December 2025 · report 7314301
https://www.chch.live/report/7314301

> There is a very large Agave plant growing on the council berm that was not planted by the property owner. It has become a serious safety hazard. The sharp, rigid leaves stick out toward the footpath and driveway. It is very dangerous for kids biking and walking past and a child has hurt themselves. The plant is extremely heavy and difficult for residents to trim, and the waste does not fit in household bins. It keeps regrowing and cannot be safely maintained. Can you please fully remove this
