# Hazard, vehicle, Rapaki, Canterbury Region 8971, New Zealand

Christchurch · filed 26 December 2025 · report 7437961
https://www.chch.live/report/7437961

> Please paint a "slow down" road marking at both sides of the bus stop in Rapaki bay i.e., 30-50m either side. Over the past week, 3 ducks have been killed by speeding traffic in this area, and speeding/boyracers have been an ongoing issue (with no resolve) for 10 years. It would also be helpful if traffic could be alerted to wildlife crossing in this area. Our neighbours in Governors, Cass and Corsair bays all have 'slow down' road markings.
