# Park - General Request, 42 Wakefield Avenue, Sumner, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand

Sumner, Christchurch · filed 15 January 2026 · report 7555141
https://www.chch.live/report/7555141

> abandoned building over the road from the Summer Fire Station. People have been in it again... all the windows are broken now. Only a matter of time before it is set alight. the building needs to be knocked over and removed. Also access to the Red Zone is obviously an issue. I think the iron fence has been forced open way back in the direction of Sumnervale.
