> This photo was taken tonight from my property. It overlooks Northwood Boulevard at the Mountee Ave roundabout. The reason for the photo (apologies for the quality), is to show how much the centre island shrubs have grown. They have grown so much that my wife thought it was a hedge. As you can see from the photo, there is a care moving past on the far side of the island. It is almost invisible. Here’s the problem: When somebody is coming around the roundabout, and somebody else is approaching it from inside Northwood, there are many points where these two vehicles cannot see each other. The ‘hedge is simply too tall. If these could be cut back and maintained, or replaced with a more groundcover plant, then this intersection will remain safe and accident free.
