# Roads - General, 420 Marshland Road, Marshland, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand

Marshland, Christchurch · filed 9 February 2026 · report 7703892
https://www.chch.live/report/7703892

> For eastbound cyclists on Prestons Rd approaching the New World driveway, the on-road cycle lane is a good option to get past. However not all cyclists are confident to use the on-road lane at the BP driveway or the Marshland Rd intersection because it's narrow and has conflicts with left turning motor vehicles. It would be good if there was a kerb cut down for cyclists to swap between lane and path between NW and BP driveways.
