# Pest / Vermin, 14 New Regent Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Christchurch Central City, Christchurch · filed 9 February 2026 · report 7709744

> Revolting stench from 14 New Regent affecting use of hospitality premesis at 12 New Regent St (Waffle Haus). Flies, smell of rot from carcasses and nesting birds. Broken windows in alley way behind this unit, and gaps and holes in boarding frontage allow entry for birds and carrion insects. These are the warm weather issues. Bird droppings make for slippery footing in winter, skeletons/carcasses also block 12's water pipe and drain all year round. Why are we putting up with this.
