# Park - General Request, 17 Waterford Avenue, Northwood, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand

Northwood, Christchurch · filed 15 February 2026 · report 7741867

> This flax on the Waterford reserve is a real safety issue. Children are playing on this reserve most days with a ball or feeding the ducks. The year before last my friends granddaughter slipped into the lake retrieving a ball by this flax. It is right on the edge of the lake and needs to be removed before a child is hurt. Please take me seriously. Thanks
