# Overgrown Vegetation, 24 Rothesay Road, Parklands, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand

Parklands, Christchurch · filed 21 February 2026 · report 7781396
https://www.chch.live/report/7781396

> The roundabout grasses are constantly growing too large to see over. Consequently, there are lots of near misses, honks and screeching brakes as people driving cannot see if a car is behind the roundabout turning. I have also witnessed multiple crashes at the roundabout. I think the grasses should be removed, and replaced with a ground cover. The flax planted in the north side of the intersection in the median island is far too large to see past, and was planted by a local, not the council.
