> Serious concern regarding the stormwater culvert located at 816 Wainui Main Road, Wainui, which failed to operate effectively during the recent extreme storm event on 16-17 February 2026. As a result of the culvert’s inability to drain, stormwater backed up across the property, flooding the surrounding garden area and ultimately entering our holiday home (approx 10cm inside), causing significant damage. Refer emails sent to Tim Ayers and Asif Hussain (CCC) for more detail and action requested.
