> Dangerous roading. Coutts Island Road is full of large dangerous potholes and the edge of the road is falling away. Dozens of large trucks are extracting shingle from the Waimakariri each day, all day and the road is in an unsafe state. Whenever it rains, the area floods and you can’t see the potholes. This section of road needs a proper repair, not continual patching that only lasts a week! This is also a road used for recreation at Whites Island and for residential property owners.
