In several areas, it is now covering up to half of the path width, creating a significant obstruction. This situation is of particular concern heading into the winter months. With increased rainfall, the adjacent swale berm becomes muddy and waterlogged, making it unsuitable for use when attempting to pass oncoming cyclists or pedestrians.
