# Animal - Domestic, 16 Marina Access, Canterbury, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand

Lyttelton, Christchurch · filed 30 May 2026 · report 8334500

> In a short 500m walk along this track I identified more than 20 cases of dog poo deposited on or near the footpath. As a dog owner myself I sometimes remove dog poo from dogs other than my own but this situation is beyond that remedy. Would it be possible to put up a series of signs encouraging dog owners to take their dog poo away with them? (I’d be very happy to assist by installing signs if that would helpful).
