# Pavement - Damaged, 65 Claridges Road, Casebrook, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand

Casebrook, Christchurch · filed 2 June 2026 · report 8351872
https://www.chch.live/report/8351872

> A tree root has bulged up about 150mm creating a trip hazard on the footpath as per photos. It's bad at night because the excellent street lighting casts a very strong shadow concealing it. As per map it's on Claridges about 10metres from Highstead on the Southeast corner. My wife had a bad fall and has injured her thump ligament, grazed her knee and tore her newish trousers.
