> This is the third notice to the council about the hazardous situation at the south end of the old Waimakariri bridge As a cyclist I am very aware of the danger these conditions present The shingle building up on the road side is not passable on a road bike unless you ride wide into the traffic lane The bump up onto the bridge has become worse and cyclists including others have to either bunny hop across or swing wide into the traffic lane The bump is causing damage to the suspension of all vehicles let alone vibration and further slumping of the approach When are these serious hazards going to be addressed before someone gets badly injured or killed Please reply to my complaint within two working days with a plan of action If you need to have an on site meeting to find out first hand how hazardous this is please call me on 021625306
