# General Request, Wainui Main Road, Wainui 7582, New Zealand

Wainui, Christchurch · filed 6 July 2026 · report 8527528
https://www.chch.live/report/8527528

> The new 5 knot buoy that should be 50m off the Wainui boat ramp, has drifted north to be almost at the other 5 knot buoy. Given it has been drifting it would be well worth repositioning it securely before it disappears in a storm.
