# General Request, 20 Marina Access, Canterbury, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand

Lyttelton, Christchurch · filed 14 July 2026 · report 8569498

> The slipway is still a major health a & safety issue due to green slime underfoot. This needs to have a regular Waterblast to bring the clean concrete into use under foot. Note the Naval Point yatch club has a wonderful ‘clean’ and safe slipway. This is a very easy fix to a very dangerous situation. I have slipped, my friends have fallen and I’ve seen vehicles sliding and others falling also.
