Richmond, Christchurch · filed 5 September 2026 · report 8867862

> On Saturday 5th September 2026 we saw our neighbour at 136 North Parade, Richmond chainsaw a large limb off a Christchurch City Council native tree then paint over the stump with some dark substance. We have seen him do this to other trees around the vicinity. He will continue chainsawing the tree bit by bit until there is just a stump sticking out of the ground. if you go visit the tree the bit he has taken off this weekend is facing his yellow house.
