# Traffic Signals, 363 Memorial Avenue, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand

Burnside, Christchurch · filed 6 October 2026 · report 9039626
https://www.chch.live/report/9039626

> Erratic traffic lights. Lights do not detect traffic on Memorial Ave SE bound, turning right (SW bound) into Roydvale. This results in having to wait an extra cycle or two. Lights only appear to respond to Memorial NW bound traffic turning NE. Possible broken traffic detection electronics? Either that or some crazy programing that's giving unpredictable results, which needs reconsideration
