> Hi There, I,m no engineer, but i can tell the two new foot bridges being built across the swale in Halswell on the Park are not going to work. They will create two dams as they are far to low. The first picture is a bridge the council built over the same swale 15 years ago, and has a 1 metre clearance. I have lived here at 1 Steane Place for 18 years and know how often this swale flows bank to bank, even then it floods at my gateway. My worry is with two dams being built the flooding will get worse. The time to change is now before they get completed.
