> please pick up and disposed of Himalaysn balsam stalks on road opposite South Library. Dispose to Landfill. I have double bagged the flowerhead and placed in my red bin It is an international invasive weed of riverbanks. Let's stop it establishing in Christchurch. Does the Council have a new riverbank weed response strategy? Next year please check and n remove any new plants as part of routine surveillance. Riverbank contractors need to be reminded of biosecurity protocols so they dont spread seed between jobs.
