> The long grass on the reserve around my property is a fire hazard. As usual I have cut a fire break but I am still worried. The grass in a reserve nearby was line-trimmed (after a fashion) a couple of days ago. The local Park Ranger is issuing warnings about fire hazard avoidance - it would be good if our council heeded the warnings and also carried out one of their core duties.
